Build new dashboards to provide analytical insights to the organisation’s decision making processes.
Maintain existing business insights tools and reports.
Develop reports using the various tools such as SAS visual analytics, Tableau, Microsoft Office.
Develop interactive dashboards, reporting and visualisations, to provide insights and make recommendations.
Provide insights into trends and anomalies - including root cause analysis.
Build effective working relationships within stakeholders.
Manage potentially difficult interactions ensuring the appropriate priority level is assigned.
An analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems in a creative way.
Proven experience working with SAS and SQL to extract and manipulate data from complex datasets.
Experience working with Tableau and SAS would be desirable.
Ability to document business requirements.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve issues.
Ability and willingness to work unsupervised and under challenging deadlines.
Tertiary qualified in a numerate, engineering and/or IT based disciplines such as Actuarial science, applied mathematics, Statistics, Computing Science, Data Science.

Together we will develop insights on fraud and scam trends to quantify their impacts on customer loss and the bank’s financial and operational performance

The Fraud Data Analytics team, part of the Chief Data and Analytics Office, maintains the fraud detection and reporting functions for the Group. Our team supports the operations of Group Fraud Management Services who are devoted to protecting the monetary assets from fraud and financial loss of CBA and Bankwest customers.
