Job Description
What You Will Be Doing:
Join the J830 Quality North team at Lockheed Martin, where you will play a critical role in supporting the Final Production team for the F-35 program. As an Inspector, you will conduct thorough operational checks and in-process inspections on specialized systems to ensure our aerospace vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform final inspections and operational checks on specialized systems, including electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, power plants, rigging, controls, and structures during final manufacturing acceptance and modification processes.
• Inspect work for quality, completeness, proper function, and adherence to specifications. Take decisive action to reject non-conforming items or order necessary rework.
• Evaluate material review items for acceptability after disposition, ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Document and report all non-conformances identified during inspections, supporting corrective actions and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate effectively with production counterparts and communicate issues with Engineering, Production, and Corrective Action personnel to resolve quality concerns promptly.

Who You Are:
As an Inspector in Assembly, you possess a strong attention to detail with the ability to notice small discrepancies or defects is crucial, as even minor oversights can lead to significant issues in production and compliance. You are a self-starter who can work independently, maintain focus on tasks with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively when issues arise.

• 4 years experience as an Inspector on a production line.
