Job Description
- Req#: INSPE001020
- Use of micrometers, calipers, indicators, gages and other measurement tools for inspection and specification verification of parts and details
- Read and interpret blue prints and customer specifications
- Completion of necessary paperwork for inspection processes
- Cross-training into other inspection methods including CMM and Whitelight, when applicable
- Daily housekeeping/6S duties
- All other duties as assigned
- Previous inspection and/or manufacturing process experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability with trigonometry/geometry and basic math skills
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills is preferred
- While performing duties of the job, the employee is required with or without accommodation to:
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
- Frequently required to stand and walk and occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach
Inspectors are responsible for in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of parts prior to shipment.
