      Req#: INSPE001020

      Inspectors are responsible for in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of parts prior to shipment.

      Essential functions of the position include:

      • Use of micrometers, calipers, indicators, gages and other measurement tools for inspection and specification verification of parts and details
      • Read and interpret blue prints and customer specifications
      • Completion of necessary paperwork for inspection processes
      • Cross-training into other inspection methods including CMM and Whitelight, when applicable
      • Daily housekeeping/6S duties
      • All other duties as assigned

      Qualifications for the position include:

      • Previous inspection and/or manufacturing process experience is preferred
      • Demonstrated ability with trigonometry/geometry and basic math skills
      • Demonstrated computer skills
      • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills is preferred
      • While performing duties of the job, the employee is required with or without accommodation to:
        • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
        • Frequently required to stand and walk and occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
        • Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach
