FAES | Extension Learning and Organizational DevelopmentOSU Extension is looking for an enthusiastic Instructional Designer to: 1) develop digital content that supports the professional development of Extension faculty and staff members, 2) support faculty and/or staff members in the development of their e-courses, and 3) teach instructional design principles, accessibility standards and best practices, and other evidence-based adult education techniques to Extension faculty and staff. Curates and designs instructional media to promote learning of educational objectives for target audience; writes and edits e-learning content (e-lessons, animations, videos, etc.) targeting specific learners; facilitates implementation of quality control processes and networks for Extension e-Learning programs and products and/or content management system; and, assists with evaluation and assessment of materials created through knowledge checks and other testing strategies. Collaborate with other college instructional designers and teams to leverage resources and knowledge for state-of-the-art products and practices. Uses organization and time-management skills and project management software to prioritize, delegate tasks and set goals for productivity. Uses creative problem-solving skills to invent new ways to accommodate the learning needs of contemporary learners. Communicates effectively (verbal and written) with learners. Infuse accessibility standards into Extension products to promote our Key values of trust, care, inclusion adaptability, and efficiency.
