      In this role, you'll:

      Work within our Standards and Competence Team within the People Planning and Capability Branch of NSW Trains, with a focus on design, development and implementation of blended engaging development and training resources.

      This role will see you as an Instructional Designer work with specialists in the business to help you create the content and design the training material and manuals that will meet and maintain standards and regulations for our staff to remain skilled, safe and customer focused.

      You will work on the coursework creation / design and ensure that essential training materials are updated and developed for safety actions and regulatory obligations related to our operational and compliance requirements.

      About you

      Your demonstrated and strong experience in Instructional Design will accompany your Certificate IV in TAE. Ideally, you will also have a tertiary qualification in Adult Education, Instructional Design, eLearning/ Blended Learning or a related discipline.

      You’re recognised for being able to coordinate the achievement of defined objectives given competing priorities within a dynamic and complex operating environment.

      You will be comfortable in a role that will draw on your experience in providing successful implementation(s) of complex business change and capability projects(s) within a medium to large, enterprise environment.

      This is an Award RC6 Temporary Fixed Term Full-Time role till 13/03/2026 based in Sydney, with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!.
