The Department of Music at Spelman College invites qualified candidates to fulfill the role of an Lecturer/Instructor specializing in recording techniques for music majors and computer music for non-majors. The successful candidate will collaborate with music technology faculty to maintain consistency in course materials across the curriculum. Essential qualifications include experience in audio engineering, music production, and electronic music composition. The candidate should demonstrate a strong dedication to teaching and engaging students within a Liberal Arts college setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach in-person recording techniques classes for music majors and general computer music classes for non-majors.
Collaborate with music technology faculty to ensure uniformity in course content across the curriculum.
