The ideal candidate for this position will provide high quality instruction for students in our rapidly growing Bachelor of Science in Aviation degree. Instructional responsibilities support concentrations in professional flight, air transport administration, and uncrewed aircraft systems. A typical workload is 4 courses (approximately 12 credits hours) per semester, and has a service expectation to the university, college and/or unit. Courses may include, but are not limited to, Introduction to Aviation and Aerospace, Introduction to Airport Administration, Airline Operations, Private, Instrument, or Commercial Ground Theory, Meteorology, Aircraft Systems, Aerodynamics, and our Senior Capstone Course. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach in higher education, and possess strong written and oral communication skills. Anticipated start date is August 18, 2025.
