      • Have a direct impact on the learning journey for American Airlines team members through facilitation of courses, development of new content and mentorship
      • Responsible for coordinating regulatory and company mandated training
      • Assistance with training project coordination, logistics planning, implementation and communication with students and all project stakeholders

      What you'll do

      • Facilitate American Airlines initial, recurrent and operational training
      • Connect with, develop, engage and guide learners within your care
      • Communicate clearly and empathetically, creating a welcoming learning atmosphere
      • Provide effective and timely feedback; helping elevate the facilitation of courses and quality of content
      • Collaborate with other team members across the training organization on a variety of projects
      • Support and participate in special projects and programs such as beta classes for new training initiatives
      • Develop and maintain productive relationships with both airport and corporate leadership
      • Ability to travel extensively both domestic and internationally to facilitate courses and provide mentorship and support
      • Ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays as needed

      All you'll need for success

      Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience
      • 1+ year of experience working in an airport/cargo environment
      • Strong understanding of classroom facilitation and management
      • Strong leadership skills
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision and uphold a professional demeanor

      Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

      • Familiarization with instructional design concepts
      • Knowledge of American Airlines computer-based software and applications preferred
      • Proficiency with programs and software related to airport/cargo operations based on team member’s work group

      Skills, Licenses & Certifications

      • Effective presentation skills
      • Self-starter with proven leadership skills
      • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively
      • Effective panning, organization, and time management skills
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
