      Endicott College is seeking an Instructor or Assistant Professor of Anatomy & Physiology.

      Come and join Endicott’s School of Science & Technology where we focus on the application of knowledge as well as practical experience. Our STEM programs have an infrastructure with modern science laboratories that include a next-generation DNA sequencing center, virtual dissection table, a 3D printing Makerspace, and a computer lab with software for mathematical modeling, computer-aided design, and geographic information system mapping.

      This position is at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to teach both lecture and laboratory courses in Anatomy & Physiology. Other courses may also include Pathophysiology, and Microbiology for Heath Care Professionals. The individual will also advise students; participate in accreditation and assessment processes; engage in professional development; and participate in school and college-wide service. At the Assistant Professor rank, additional expectations include engaging in professional scholarship or development.

      This position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Endicott College Faculty Association (ECFA) and Endicott College. ECFA is a faculty union organized under the NEA (National Educational Association) and provides structure and support for all full-time faculty at Endicott College.

      Responsibilities include:

      • Teach eight courses per academic year (four in both the fall and spring semesters).
      • Advise up to 25 students.
      • Attend department, school, and college meetings.
      • Participates in accreditation processes.
      • Engage in professional development, scholarship, research, and/or publishing.
      • Assist in curriculum development.
      • Participates in department, school, and college service.
      • Maintain and post regular office hours.
      • Perform other duties as required and as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Endicott College Faculty Association (ECFA) and Endicott College.

      Qualifications:

      • Master’s or Doctorate in any area related to Anatomy & Physiology. For the position of Assistant Professor, a Doctorate is required along with having a well-defined and innovative research agenda that compliments and expands the existing strengths of the School of Science & Technology.
      • College-level teaching experience in Anatomy & Physiology, with evidence of innovative methodologies in the classroom and laboratory.
      • Desire to work in a student – centered, teaching oriented institution
