What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule and coordinate face-to-face technical interactions with customers and lead product demonstrations
- Provide technical consultation and problem-solving to meet customer needs
- Meet or exceed established sales goals by delivering bookings commitments
- Build and implement strategies to drive growth and respond to customer requirements
- Communicate bookings outlook to management for performance transparency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related sciences
- Proficient analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and customer demand
- Experience in leading discussions and delivering presentations in-person or remotely
- Demonstrated technical sales or hands-on experience with scientific instrumentation
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the sales region and reside in the primary sales territory (PA, NJ)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in technical sales within the scientific instrumentation field
- Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce for pipeline and forecast management
