      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure compliance of all procedural and diagnostic codes with state and federal laws and healthcare industry standards
      - Maintain accuracy of all claims submitted and perform follow-up on accounts that are not paid timely or appropriately
      - Process account adjustments and verify insurance coverage
      - Update records as needed
      - Perform other duties as assigned

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum two (2) years of Medical Accounts Receivable and Coding experience
      - Current certification from a nationally accredited body for professional coders is required
      - Business and computer courses at the college level; an Associate's degree is strongly preferred
      - Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members
      - Excellent attendance, work ethic, and a positive attitude

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)
      - Experience in a healthcare setting with a focus on patient-centered care
      - Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask
      - Strong commitment to privacy and safety in healthcare
