      Job Description

      JOB SUMMARY:

      The Billing Representative, under the direction of the Billing Supervisor/lead performs the daily activities of manually entering bills, maintaining workfiles or working daily TES edits.

      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      • Responsible for manual entry of daily billing from manual accounts
      • Works and resolves simple to moderately complex system edits including TES.
      • Reviews and resolves complex pre-billing issues through our workfile system.
      • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
      • Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.

      Work Schedule

      Mon-Fri: 7:00am-3:30pm

      Requirements

      EDUCATION & LICENSURE:

      • High school diploma or GED is required.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      • Two years of experience in a medical billing or insurance claims environment.
      • Knowledge of insurance payers and websites preferred.
      • Knowledge of IDX Billing and Accounts Receivable and IDX TES is preferred.
