What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and monitor insurance unpaid third-party insurance and denials for proper payment
- Assist patients with inquiries regarding the clinic and hospital billing system
- Track pending eligibilities and unpaid claims from the work queue
- Communicate effectively with payers and departmental staff to remove barriers to claim payment
- Submit and receive prior authorizations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Associates - Business
- A minimum of 1 year Related Experience
- Must be able to sit frequently and handle/finger/feel continuously
- Must have exceptional communication skills
- Preferred PC skills, including Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in healthcare billing or insurance claims processing
