  With this in mind, we’re now looking for an experienced and data-savvy Insurance Risk Associate to join our Legal & Risk team.

  YOUR MISSION AT VOI
  Working closely with the Director of Insurance and another Insurance Risk Associate, you’ll be responsible for maintaining - and striving to continuously improve the efficiency of - Voi’s global insurance programs which include: rider (motor) liability and personal accident; commercial general & product liability; employer’s liability/workers compensation; D&O; cargo/stock; and property damage and business interruption.
  
  Duties will include:
  

  • Helping to structure, procure and maintain a programme of insurance covers to (i) ensure compliant operations and appropriate management of corporate risk; and (ii) support Voi’s growth in current and new markets/products
    
  • Managing the day-to-day relationship with insurance brokers, insurers and external claims handlers across Europe. A key aspect of this includes leading quarterly business reviews with our insurance partners to assess the performance of our programs and sharing insights with General Managers, Legal, Finance and other teams
    
  • Carrying out comprehensive data analytics on insurance claims and providing recommendations to the business to reduce risk and improve insurance program performance
    
  • Working closely with user support teams to (i) act as a point of escalation for non-standard claims across all lines of insurance; and (ii) continuously review and develop standard operating procedures to ensure compliant and efficient processing of claims. You will be responsible for researching and recommending solutions (including those provided by third parties) that could be deployed to improve incident/claims management and analysis
    
  • Assisting internal teams to assess and comply with insurance requirements arising from tenders, city requirements or local laws and producing documentation to evidence compliance. As part of this, you will need to be comfortable with reviewing policy wordings and proposing solutions to any potential coverage gaps or exclusions
    
  • Maintaining a database of relevant coverage and claims registers, including leveraging software / AI solutions as appropriate
    
  • Providing detailed inputs on spend and budgeted costs on insurance to Finance and market teams to assist with the budgeting process across the group
    
  • Undertaking risk assessments on new markets, new proposals and projects, and periodically updating risk assessments on existing operations to ensure an updated insured risk profile is available to be checked against agreed risk appetites.
    

  WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A minimum of 2 years+ in the insurance industry (broking, underwriting, in house risk management etc) and data-savvy
  • The role is intended to be in Stockholm but we are open to applications from elsewhere, especially London
  • Fluent English is required and a high level of Swedish would be desirable
