What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a liaison to the American Kidney Fund's Health Insurance Premium Program (HIPP) to support health insurance grants for eligible patients
- Review and process grant requests and ensure timely payments for medical premiums
- Communicate with Insurance Coordinators to rectify inaccuracies in grant requests
- Maintain records of Indigent Waiver applications and ensure timely processing
- Assist with reports and projects as directed by the Support Services Manager
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- 1-2 years of related experience in healthcare or insurance
- Knowledge of various insurance types and the dialysis industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working within the dialysis healthcare sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
