      Job Description

      Essential Functions of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below
      * Assess prospective clients for program eligibility through receipt of internal and external referrals
      * Responsible for assisting homeless households with obtaining and maintaining basic household furnishings
      * Assess prospective clients for program eligibility through receipt of internal and external referrals
      * Responsible for apartment inspections to ensure apartments are safe and in compliance with Housing and Urban Development Housing Quality Standards
      * Assists clients with coordination of rent renewals and advocates for clients to resolve any landlord-related issues
      * Transports clients to view potential apartments and with obtaining household related items, as needed
      * Collects monthly rent from clients
      * Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate client files, case notes and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing, or accrediting bodies
      * Participates in community outreach efforts to obtain additional resources for clients
      * Meets with each client as required by the Program or based on client needs
      * Knows and complies with the laws and regulations relevant to the position and services
      PLEASE NOTE: Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
      X Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day
      X Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds
      X Climb up and down up to 5 flights of stairs at a time
      X Lift up to 25 pounds

      Relevant Education:
