      Pinnacle Home Care, Florida’s largest Medicare-certified home health provider, has been delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for over two decades, and we’re looking for Intake Coordinators to join our award-winning team.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Protect the confidentiality of patient and organization information through effective controls and direct supervision of operations.
      • Receive, review, and process Central Intake referral requests with precision, attention to detail and accuracy, in an expedited/timely manner, daily.
      • Possess organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize and complete all duties, tasks, and responsibilities of the Central Intake Team in accordance with the department’s Standard Operating Procedures.
      • Proficient in using computers for data entry; must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, ProDC, and experience of working with database management.
      • Possess a level of patience, and a pleasant demeanor, with a high level of problem-solving skills.
      • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and be flexible to accommodate daily fluctuations, volume surges, and business needs as agency growth may require.
      • Track individual key performance indicators, daily.
      • Participate in team meetings, overseeing correspondence, sharing meeting responsibilities, responding to routine requests, and assisting with the collaboration of professional learning and professional development.
      • Crosstrain and collaborate to support other Central Operations Teams with Special Projects.
      • Perform other duties and activities as delegated by supervisor.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • 1–2 years of healthcare experience, preferably home healthcare.
      • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and EMR systems.
      • Quick and accurate typing skills.
      • Understanding of patient plan of care and standard insurance eligibility.
      • Strong customer service and communication skills.
      • Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate issues when appropriate.
      • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
