      Summary:

      The Intake Nurse will be responsible for initiating and processing patient referrals to assure that the patient needs are met and agency policies are followed. Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with referral sources, payors and case managers

      Knowledge:

      • Current Customer Service knowledge and training

      • Regulations that impact the acceptance of a patient (e.g. Conditions of Participation)

      • Understanding of the Home Care Marketplace and the availability of additional community resources that can be utilized to create complete customer service solutions.

      • Ability to share accountability for achieving desired financial targets by negotiating desirable rates that are within preapproved pricing ranges and converting inquires into referrals.

      Work Location: Remote
      Work Hours: 8:30a-5pm (M-F) Schedule can change if needed to add weekends

      Requirements:

      • Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.

      • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)

      • A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience.

      • One year of work experience must be in a position of responsibility (administration/supervision/preceptor, preferable in a case management, community health or home health setting).

      • HME and infusion experience preferred.

      Salary Range: Minimum 36.31 per hour - Maximum 56.28 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

      In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
