What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for network providers, physicians, and members
- Act as a liaison between provider networks, physicians, and Health Plans
- Respond to and resolve questions and problems through inbound and outbound calls and written correspondence
- Handle follow-up calls for existing authorization requests
- Ensure a level of service that exceeds customer expectations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Answering telephones, detail-oriented, high accuracy, and self-motivation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year experience as an Intake Specialist or equivalent position in a multi-function Contact Center setting
- One year of experience in a medical setting working with Prior Authorizations
- Experience with computer operation, automated database, and standard PC business software
- Data entry experience with multiple screens
