      Responsibilities

      • The Intake Specialists position will speak with potential Clients who have passed our initial pre-qualification screening process and appear to be eligible for Social Security Disability Insurance. The agents will ask a series of questions to the Claimant from our script-guide and enter answers that will populate in the application documents we send to the Social Security Administration. We will be working with individuals who have never applied, are in the middle of the process, or have been previously denied.
      • The application itself consists of three main components; the Claimant’s personal information, medical history, and work history. The key to the position is being focused and confident when speaking with Claimants so that we are able to get the most accurate and complete application info. Successful candidates need to be smart and have a desire to help people.
      • Most importantly, specialists must secure the claimant’s approval in allowing Citizens Disability to represent them and agree to a fee upon winning the claim.

      Qualifications

      Soft Skills

      • Strong English-language speaking skills, both reading from the script and unscripted.
      • Strong phone skills. Ability to speak clearly and confidently to the caller.
      • Ability to steer the conversation and not be overwhelmed or lose focus.
      • Highly efficient multitasking skills.
      • Good sales and negotiation skills.
      • Strong attention to detail and retention of information.
      • Ability to relay information/instructions to elderly people comprehensively.
      • Can work without direct supervision.
      • Has a great understand ing of FPS’ core values.

      Technical Skills & ISP Requirements

      • Good web navigation and computer skills; will navigate and toggle 5 windows at the same time and process 10 pager application forms.
      • Has exposure to google docs and MS Office.
      • Experience in using Salesforce is a plus.
      • Must have a strong and stable internet connection at home.
      • With at least 25 mbps postpaid subscription and proof of internet billing; actual speed of at least 20 mbps download and not less than 10 mbps upload.
      • Having a back up connection is a plus.

      Experience, Education, Age

      • Minimum of 2 years Call Center experience with background on both and that supported clients in industries such as Medical Insurance, Healthcare, and General Insurance.
      • Experience in Inbound & Outbound Sales campaigns is required.
      • At least 2 years in College, any course or Senior High School graduate or its equivalent.
      • Legal age of employment; at least 18 years to 40 years old.
