      We are looking for an Integration Architect to be responsible for designing, communicating & assuring Rio Tinto’s global integration platform standards, patterns & governance. This is a great opportunity for a proven integration specialist to, along with Enterprise Architecture, drive integration competency across IS&T through a robust governance framework, working across several integration delivery streams. Contribute your expertise to delivering our Integration Platform roadmap and platform engineering initiatives as a subject matter expert.

      Reporting to the Technical Business Platforms Lead and working in a collaborative community within our Technology Platforms division, you will:

      • Own & continuously improve Rio Tinto’s global integration standards, governance & patterns with input & endorsement from Enterprise Architecture & Cyber Security
      • Contribute subject matter expertise to Rio Tinto’s integration requirements including integration solutions, DevSecOps processes, Azure API Management platform initiatives, project governance & consultation, and business-as-usual platform operations
      • Coach integration delivery teams to adopt & implement Rio Tinto integration competencies, assuring consistency in design & delivery
      • Support initiatives from relevant Service Lines, Product Group Business Partners, Cyber Security and I&OT teams
      • Align platform towards Rio Tinto IS&T transformation objectives
      • Contribute to Rio Tinto’s global integration platform roadmap in alignment with emerging technology & capability, Rio Tinto’s enterprise architecture and Product Group digital strategies
      • Build & nurture relationships with key stakeholders; continuously seek feedback on platform value & performance

      What you’ll bring

      • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
      • 8+ years contributing to large scale global IT projects including core and critical integration solutions
      • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform & Azure API Management environment architecture
      • Extensive integration platform architecture, design, delivery and monitoring experience
      • Experience in API authentication protocols such as Basic Authentication, Oauth 2.0 flows, SAML, Bearer tokens, API keys and client certificates
      • Experience integrating Azure cloud-based services and on-premises systems using a hybrid cloud strategy, with knowledge of network dependencies
      • Good negotiation and influencing skills, and confidence to operate at all levels of the business
      • Ability to operate across culture and extract value from virtual teams dispersed globally
