Job Description

- Understand analysis/requirements and build/update a map to successfully deliver the appropriate implementation
- Perform unit and integration testing in a deployment environment to verify the delivered implementation meets the given requirements
- Provide support for IBM/Sterling B2B Integrator setup, mapping, and business process development and graphical interfaces
- Adhere to safe coding practices from security, dependency and risk mitigation perspectives
- Work with version control complexities including multiple concurrent branches, and merges
- Provide integration testing support to QA during functional, regression, and user acceptance testing to Operations, Customers, Third Parties, Carriers and QA
- Ensure adherence to the Information Exchange (IE) analysis and development standards
- Proactively identify and communicate issues, propose and implement solutions for continuous improvements in regard to the job accountabilities
- Follow IE team defined analysis and development best practices, and adhere to safe coding practices from security, dependency and risk mitigation perspectives
- Create high quality technical documentation and result oriented POCs and discuss openly the ideas with others
- Contribute to the Uber Freight Employee Development Process (DPM)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or a closely related field of study;
- 5 years of IT Programming/Development experience;
- 2 years of Map/Translation Development experience;
- 1 year of experience using IBM (International Business Machines)/Sterling B2B (Business to Business) Integrator [for example: BPML (Business Process Modeling Language), SI (Sterling Integrator) Extended];
- 1 year of experience using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) X12 standards;
- 1 year of Implementation Analysis experience;
- 1 year of combined experience to include each of the following: JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), Oracle, and SQL (Structured Query Language);
- 1 year of experience using EACH of the following: SVN (Subversion), B2B (Business to Business) [for example: AS2 (Application Statement 2), FTP (File Transfer Process), SFTP (Secure File Transfer Process), VAN (Value-Added Network), WebSphere MQ], and Linux/Unix.
- Work from home available. Must reside within the United States
- Experience may be gained concurrently.
