Integration Engineering Technician - C

Huntsville, AL

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of vacuum furnaces, sub-systems and ancillary equipment

• Performance of Pyrometric testing and certification of vacuum furnace equipment.

• Thermally process aerospace materials such as stainless steel, copper, nickel and cobalt alloys, and titanium wrought alloys, casting, and additive manufacturing.

• Familiar with pre and post process testing such as hardness testing.

• Familiar with performing vacuum furnace preventative maintenance.

Qualifications:

• 2 Year Technical Certificate or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience working with vacuum heat-treating furnaces
• Minimum of 3 years aerospace vacuum thermal processing experience
• Must have understanding of vacuum system fundamentals and operation
• Familiar with pre and post processing testing such as hardness testing
• Familiar with performing vacuum furnace preventative maintenance
