What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, build, and document interfaces using EMR functionality and interface engine applications
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot complex issues related to interfaces and data exchange
- Write effective SSIS and SQL queries as needed
- Participate in projects to analyze, develop, test, implement, and maintain integration points for existing interfaces and new systems
- Provide input to systems planning and innovative technology and process solutions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related technology discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-5 years of experience supporting interface systems in a medium-scale, multi-user, multi-application, multi-server enterprise environment, preferably in healthcare
- Must obtain a relevant certification upon hire if not already certified
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
- Good working knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) version 2 message formatting standard

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with object-oriented programming and general understanding of coding concepts
- Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP, Web Services, and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
- Familiarity with interface engine development and server system administration
- Experience with XMLs, SOAP, REST, JSON, or the ability to learn
