      Position Summary

      • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Epic Bridges Interface Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of interface development, supporting reliable and secure integrations between Epic and external systems. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless data exchange that supports clinical and operational workflows.


      Position Responsibilities

      • Manage end-to-end interface development including analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.

      • Collaborate with Epic analysts, clinical and business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to define interface requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

      • Oversee interface-related activities such as build, testing, go-live planning, and post-implementation support.

      • Partner with interface engine developers to build and validate mappings, workflows, and translation logic using standards like HL7, X12, FHIR, and XML.

      • Lead interface implementation projects and coordinate cross-functional deliverables to meet business needs and timelines.

      • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve interface issues; drive continuous improvement in performance and reliability.

      • Maintain comprehensive documentation including specifications, workflows, and support materials in alignment with organizational and compliance standards.

      • Stay current on Epic Bridges capabilities and emerging integration technologies through training and certification.


      Education and Experience

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      • Minimum of 4-5 years in an IT or healthcare integration role, with hands-on experience in interface development and EDI.

      • Epic Bridges Certification is required and must be current at time of hire.

      • Strong experience with HL7, X12, FHIR, XML, and healthcare data exchange workflows.

      Skills, Abilities and Requirements

      • Epic Bridges and integration tools (build, monitor, and maintenance).

      • Healthcare interoperability standards and protocols (HL7 v2.x, FHIR, X12, XML).

      • EHR data structures and downstream systems such as ADT, LIS, RIS, PACS, and billing platforms.

      • Interface engines and messaging behavior (e.g., data queues, Comm/ Event/Filer daemons)
