      Position Overview:

      2. The Interim FAIR Program Manager will develop and oversee the selection process for FAIR participants to create a pilot FAIR program for the 2025 season. They will also develop a system for onboarding, orientation and curriculum for FAIR participants. FAIR is OSF’s professional development program that provides participants with an advanced fellowship, assistantship, internship, or resident opportunity to learn best practices across all administration, artistic, design, and production disciplines.
      3. The Green Show Support Producer supports the Associate Producer, Greenshow in production aspects of OSF’s Green Show. The Green Show is OSF’s free outdoor concert and performing art series presented before the evening plays, June to September

      Salary: $31,000 for 8 months starting March 4th

      Organizational Background

      The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) was founded in 1935 in Ashland, OR, and has grown from a three-day festival of two plays to a nationally renowned theatre arts organization that presents a rotating repertory season of up to 10 plays and musicals, including illuminating interpretations of Shakespeare, other enduring classics, and new works. OSF productions have been presented on Broadway, internationally, and at regional, community, and high school theatres across the country. OSF received the 1983 Special Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre and is one of the largest nonprofit theatres in the nation with three stages, including an outdoor Allen Elizabethan Theatre.

      INTERIM FAIR MANAGER

      Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

      Program Building

      1. In collaboration with the Associate Artistic Director, compile practices and procedures and budgets from prior FAIR Program and update to create a pilot program for 2025.

      Recruitment and Outreach

      1. Create and implement a system for soliciting, accepting and processing FAIR applications.
      2. Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to advertise FAIR.
      3. Recruit a diverse range of applicants.

      Participant Selection and Management

      1. Collaborate with department managers and directors to determine application criteria, FAIR curriculum and processes of evaluation.
      2. Disseminate recruitment materials to appropriate venues.
      3. Process applications and manage the selection process for all FAIR Participants in collaboration with department managers and other stakeholders.
      4. Coordinate with Finance, HR and Company Management on contracting, stipends, housing, travel and logistics for participants with residencies in person.
      5. Create a general onboarding, and review process for all FAIR participants for 2025 and establish an internal process of orientation and schedule curriculum for FAIR participants, including orientation, tours, lectures, discussions, events, attending productions, exit interviews, et cetera.

      Budgeting and Funding

      1. Manage program budget in collaboration with the Associate Director of Education.
      2. Work with Development on potential grants

      Other Duties and Responsibilities:

      1. Engage in Marketing and Development activities as needed.
      2. Represent OSF at organizational functions and conferences when requested.
      3. Other duties as assigned.

      GREEN SHOW SUPPORT PRODUCER

      Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

      1. Recruit locals acts that are new to the Green Show
      2. Reach out to company members who may want to present a Green Show
      3. Assist in entering travel info into season central and co-ordinate with Company Management.

      Occasional Duties as time allows:

      1. Fill in as host for select performances
      2. Assist crew in set up for performances

      Supervision Received:

      Position will be report to the Associate Artistic Director and will receive close supervision from the Associate Director of Education and the Associate Producer, Greenshow.

      Supervision Exercised: None.

      Qualifications & Skills:

      REQUIRED:

      Education: B.A in Theatre or commensurate experience.

      Work Experience: Experience in project management, implementing and overseeing systems and procedures. Background and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).

      Physical Ability: Work is performed in a variety of environments, including standard office settings, rehearsal spaces, and theatre backstage areas and auditoriums.

      Other Skills, Ability and/or Knowledge: A strong self-motivator adept at working autonomously with an independent judgment and a high degree of discretion in a fast-paced and often-changing environment. Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to process. Demonstrated inter-personal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity and ability to maintain a positive and inclusive work atmosphere are fundamental.

      Special Hours Requirements: Some evening and weekend hours will apply; Travel may be required.
