- Coaching Strategic Account Managers and their brokers to make better business decisions
- Delivering the volume, quality and profitability of growth opportunities to the Cell which enables them to hit their plan targets
- Controlling the distribution costs across intermediated relationships to deliver profitable growth, and ensure distributor and customer value
- New business development of UKGI intermediaries and including renewals
- Drive greater visibility of Aviva to Strategic Account brokers
- Established senior strategic account manager with London Market experience and a comprehensive understanding of deal construction and broker account performance
- Strong Leadership and Change Management skills in line with Aviva Values. Relationship/ Account management experience, within the General Insurance Broker market
- Articulate and confident communicator, with the ability to build positive relationships and influence others across a range of business areas and all levels of seniority
- Commercial and negotiation skills appropriate to large contracts / deals
- An ability to plan and implement at a strategic and tactical level, with a focus on delivery and outcomes
- Starting salary of Circa £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 25% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

Head of Broker Strategic Accounts
Salary – Circa £120,000
We are recruiting for a Head of Broker Strategic Accounts to join our Strategic Accounts team. The successful candidate will lead a team of Strategic Account Managers, acting as a coach to brokers and the business to identify growth opportunities, ensure strategic alignment, optimizing financial arrangements and maximizing contact strategies.
As Aviva’s growth appetite increases so does the scope of this high-profile role, requiring energy and drive to work both in the external market and internally.
We are flexible on location; however, the successful candidate will be required to spend significant time in London
A bit about the job:
The Strategic Accounts team is responsible for the implementation and delivery of Aviva’s profitable growth strategy at a national and regional level with our largest and most complex broker relationships.
This role leads a team of Strategic Account Managers, acting as a coach to brokers and the business to identify growth opportunities, ensure strategic alignment, optimizing financial arrangements and maximizing contact strategies. You will:
