      Job Summary:

      The Tax Manager will prepare and review tax returns as well as schedules related to the compliance of tax liabilities. This position works at a variety of clients on a temporary basis.

      Job Duties:

      • Prepares tax returns including research and planning and correspondence for US Federal and International tax compliance and provisions
      • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax reports
      • Prepares tax returns including research and planning and correspondence for State and local tax compliance
      • Other duties as required

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      • N/A

      Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Accounting, preferred

      Experience:

      • Ten (10) or more years in International or Domestic Tax Compliance experience, required
      • Experience with C Corporations, Sub S Corporations, Limited Liability Corporations or Partnerships, required
      • Experience with OneSource, Corptax, or other tax compliance software, preferred
      • Strong knowledge Federal and State Tax Codes, preferred

      Software

      • Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook, required
      • OneSource and Corptax, preferred

      • Technical Skills commensurate with level of experience
      • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism even under pressure
      • Team player and contribute knowledge as well as ask for help
      • Fast learner and able to work ethically, effectively, and professionally under pressure

      • Embraces the ideas of others and nurture innovation and operational excellence
      • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills with ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels of customers’ and internal organization
      • Continually strive to improve inter-personal, management, functional, and technical skills set
      • Ability to travel minimum of 50%, preferred

      Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.


      National Range: $75.00/hr - $105.00/hr
      Maryland Range: $75.00/hr - $105.00/hr
      NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $75.00/hr - $105.00/hr
