- Work closely with the project design team and client team in each phase of the project delivery process.
- Contribute to all aspects and phases of the interior design process, including programming, space analysis/planning, concepts, material/furniture selection, working drawings, specifications, and CD packages.
- Attend and lead project meetings with clients.
- Collaborate with a wide range of project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design team consultants.
- Maintain and organize interior design project files.
- Maintain and update the office interior library by working with product representatives.
- Travel to and from project and client meetings as required.
- Strong technical skills in interior design.
- 3-5+ years of experience in the interior design industry with relevant built work experience.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor design detailing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in documenting all phases of the interior design process.
- Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional client service orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong proficiency in Revit.
- Solid MS Office abilities.
- Experience in healthcare design projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe software.

Work Environment
This position is based out of our Rockville, Maryland office location for local candidates. After six months of employment, a hybrid work arrangement is available, with an expectation of working three days per week in the office, at a client site, or at off-site locations for company-sponsored events as needed. Enjoy our brand new Class A office space with free parking. Our firm consists of 55-60 team members, with project teams varying in size from 2-5 or 8+ depending on project scope. We specialize in stable healthcare projects, offering a collaborative and challenging work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $38.00/hr.
