What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare steady state and transient studies using ETAP, SKM, PSSE, CDEGS or PSCAD
- Provide guidance to junior engineers on completing work
- Prepare proposal writeups and estimates based on client Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Provide input into improvement ideas during project execution and close-out
- Prepare clear and well-written study reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of working experience in Electrical Engineering
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in Canada
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience with high voltage substations for renewable and electrical utility clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in consulting firms
- Knowledge of advanced analytics and technology in engineering
- Familiarity with industry-leading experts in the field
