Intermediate Designer plays a key role in the development of design concepts and documentation. This position requires a solid understanding of the design process, technical knowledge, and the ability to take ownership of portions of a project under the supervision of a senior designer or project manager.

Responsibilities:

• Develop design concepts and translate them into presentations and technical drawings
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents and specifications
• Collaborate with consultants, vendors, and contractors
• Manage portions of a project from design development through construction
• Contribute to FF&E selections and material boards
• Guide and mentor junior designers
• Work well with other staff members and contribute to the office culture

Job Requirements:

• Holds a Bachelor's degree, or recognized equivalent, in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
• 3-5 years of experience in an architecture or design firm
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and/or Rhino
• Understanding of codes, construction practices, and detailing
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
