      Citibank is a part of the largest international financial corporation with more than 200 years of history. Join our Team as an Intern in Almaty or Astana and get an insight into the daily life of an international bank.

      We offer 11 or 12-month internships programs for university students of 3rd or higher academic year.

      Internship programs are open in our Corporate Banking, Services, Global Network Banking and Treasury and Trade Operational teams therefore we prefer academic background in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Technical fields.

      As an intern you will have the following responsibilities:

      • Participation in team meetings and discussions of projects
      • Attending meetings and taking minutes
      • Performing research at a supervisor's request
      • Updating of customer related information
      • Performing basic, routine tasks and assignments
      • Completing standardized activities

      This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required by the given function.

      We are looking for you if you possess the following skills and fulfil the below criteria:

      • You have at least upper-Intermediate English language knowledge
      • You are a university student of 3rd year of education or higher
      • You have strong academic background, preferably in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Technical field
      • You can work minimum 20 hours per week during the educational season and 40 hours per week during the summer holiday period
      • Prior work experience is not required
