- Have or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree. If a current student, must be a college junior or higher.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Working knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to learn, retain and present information to recruits in an accurate manner
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment, and anticipate needs of the department
- Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
- Ability to work a non-standard work schedule which may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
- Prior experience in an intercollegiate athletics program
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a (.75 FTE) intern. Intern will help support the Florida Football coaching staff with recruiting communications, input data regarding recruiting visits, and assist with the operations of setting up for visits. This position will shadow the on-campus recruiting director. This is a time-limited position with an option for a second year if essential criteria is met.
