      Our program provides a paid internship opportunity starting at $20.00 per hour, along with a hybrid work schedule that offers the best of both worlds. You will work in the office for four days a week, collaborate with your team, and grow your skills. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work from home, one day a week. Our program runs from June 5th, 2024, to August 9th, 2024, and we expect our interns to commit to the entire program duration.

In addition, a successful candidate needs critical thinking skills, the ability to find a solution, not just provide information, an interest in seeing yourself as an individual contributor adding value in a corporate environment, and finally, an interest in working with people from different backgrounds and countries.       The Accounting Intern will assist the accounting department with various tasks, including but not limited to, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced accounting environment and will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals.

      What you will do:

      • Shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties
      • Assist with research, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
      • Process various reports using Excel spreadsheets
      • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
      • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
      • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
      • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed

      What we look for:

      • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
      • Strong analytical and research skills.
      • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
      • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Proficient in Google Suite.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
      • Must be able to clear a background check
      • Must be authorized to work in the US
      • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
      • Good communication and teamwork skills
      • Solid time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
      • Ability to communicate and deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels in a professional manner
      • A love of play and toys!
