      Job Description

      Knowledge Advantage “KA” is responsible for shaping and implementing a Knowledge approach across the Fund to deliver differentiated insights as a critical driver of investing edge. KA manages processes and tools that allow teams across the Fund’s global offices to leverage the breadth and depth of the Fund’s knowledge, insights, and expertise. The team also instigates cross-fund knowledge sharing forums and approaches to uncover and deepen insights and perspectives generated through cross-department collaboration. As a member of KA, you will have your hand on the pulse of investment activity across CPP Investments and contribute to the revitalization of the Fund’s Knowledge capability.

      Responsibilities will include:

      • Identify relevant Fund knowledge to enhance investment teams’ sourcing, ideation, diligence, and strategy efforts using KA’s proprietary resources
      • Capture and codify knowledge assets through systematic processes to ensure teams are building and leveraging institutional memory across investment processes
      • Identify and analyze cross-Fund trends and insights (e.g., sectoral, thematic, geographic) using KA’s suite of products and tools for discrete audiences
      • Other duties as assigned

      Candidates in an undergraduate program that will be returning to school in the Fall of 2024 are eligible to apply. We look for candidates with a strong track record of academic success while balancing extracurricular activities, as well as good communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills. In addition, the most successful candidates often combine energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity, with demonstrated interest in investing.
