Job Description
- Req#: 8078
- Complete the assignment of a specific project during the 3-month internship experience
- Assist in the product development of new or enhanced product designs that properly position IR’s products, systems, solutions, and services
- Ability to use Engineering software to initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) from initiation through completion.
- Ability to complete ECO requests to be converted to 2D technical drawings, formatted using Company Drawing Templates, and released in Adept software
- Transferring design specifications and sketches into AutoCAD or SolidWorks software
- Reviewing, modifying, and releasing AutoCAD or SolidWorks drawings with the team
- Handle all details of assigned projects from inception to completion within mutually agreed-upon timeframes
- Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences
- An Engineering Intern with experience with 2D and 3D modeling in AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Initiative to learn various Engineering Software to accomplish the task at hand
- Must be currently enrolled in a BS/BA in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0 throughout the duration of the internship
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects

Our 3-month internship opportunity offers candidates working towards their Bachelor&aposs in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
