Job Description

- Support the organization of events for Europe and UK key players and sponsors including RSVP tracking
- Assist the BD team in capturing and filing information in Salesforce. Regularly update and organize stakeholder mailing lists.
- Conduct research and analysis of key players in the financial services (banks, asset managers, institutional investors), family business, and philanthropic communities
- Attend client meetings and produce post-meeting notes
- Create sponsorship proposals for potential partners
- Coordinate the management of the CRM database and invitation mailings with the Los Angeles and Singapore offices
- Enthusiasm for research and data analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Master’s graduate is preferred
- Keen interest in international finance appreciated
Hourly range: £18-£20

About the Internship
This Milken Institute internship offers new graduates (Bachelor’s or Master’s) unique exposure to key players in finance and asset management across the UK and Europe, and the rare opportunity to work in a close-knit team for one of the world’s leading platforms for leaders in international business, philanthropy, health, technology, and politics. Applicants for the Business & Program Development internship should be graduates with a background in international economics, business, or finance to be considered. Applicants must be highly organised, efficient with administrative tasks, and a motivated team player.
Working closely with the Business and Program Development team, the Intern will focus on engaging current strategic partners, developing new partnerships, and expanding audiences around our series of events including the Asia Summit , the Middle East and Africa Summit and the Global Conference as well as the year-round London Dialogues. In particular, the year-round London Dialogues is a series of private events that gathers prominent regional and world leaders to exchange ideas on solutions that address Europe and UK’s crucial economic and finance issues. They will also be involved in on-going development of the Institute’s Young Leaders Circle and Senior Regional Leaders program.
The Milken Institute’s Internship Program aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders who are equipped to tackle the issues that shape the global agenda as they enter the financial, investment, corporate, multilateral, or philanthropic sectors. We create a customized experience for each intern, which is tailored to their interest area and career trajectory as well as emphasizes their professional and personal development.
