Job Description

- Assist the Manager in developing new policies and procedures dealing with CECL and enhancing current policies and procedures
- Review existing reports to further streamline the functionality to reduce time and effort.
- Require major in accounting or finance
- Should be well versed in Word and Excel
- Have knowledge in the use of PDF
- Candidate should be taking upper division courses (junior or senior year)
- Candidate should express interest in working in a related field that supports financial services, after graduation
- Candidate should be in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Candidate must be returning to their campus following the program
- Have a reliable means of transportation to and from the workplace
- Have excellent customer services/client focus, teamwork, and collaboration
- Ability to write and communicate effectively and have solid attention to details
- Experience in administrative/office support and phone skills
- Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Offices including Word, Excel (pivot tables, charts); PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook
- Experience in research, analysis and statistical data are a plus
- Gain customer service experience and exposed to Business Finance and or accounting environment and related to individual major.
- Exposure to the legal aspect of loan documents.

Department Overview
Special Assets is a unique department that is established to monitor, workout and/or liquidate loans to troubled borrowers. This department provides invaluable experience for persons who want to become Relationship Officers by educating them in credit analysis, the ability to recognize warning flags and be able to react before the loan becomes a bigger problem to the Bank.
Position OverviewThe Intern is responsible for managing problem loan asset portfolios with the goal of minimizing loan losses, reducing nonperforming assets and maintaining compliance with bank and regulatory requirements.
