Are you passionate about Internal Communications? Then we are looking for you as our new Intern.

We will make sure to get you as excited as we are when we talk about the distribution of bulk liquids operated by the world’s largest and most sophisticated fleet of chemical and tankers, with over 70 deep-sea ships!

What you will be doing
You will be part of the internal communications team of the Stolt Tankers Transformation Team and will learn while you are working with us on exciting projects. You provide support to the roll out of several initiatives, including our business transformation change programm. You will focus on partnering with key business areas, working with the Stolt Tankers (ST) leadership team to help them both plan and deliver effective communications. You will make sure the strategy is communicated effectively and creates excitement within the whole of the organisation.

You will have the opportunity to work with all levels and departments of the Stolt Tankers business. Our office is located in the historic Rotterdam Veerhaven area.

Your Assignment

• Preparing and sending out the newsletters.
• Creation/ suggestion of new content.
• Help stablishing the management system for communications.
• Processing feedback from the cascade of information.
• Organization of townhalls.
• Organizing and helping with ad hoc communications.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is ASAP, or February, when most internships start.
• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible).
• You are registered at an educational institution.
• You will be based in Rotterdam.
• You will receive an internship fee of €650.
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime).

• You are fluent in English (both spoken and written).
• You are studying or have previous experience in marketing, communications, or any related field.
• You are able to come up with relevant content.
• Ability to work with and understand cultural differences.
• A result-driven and proactive mentality.
• Collaborative mindset – can build connections with people of various backgrounds & personalities.
• Strong technical skills, affinity with MS Office.
• Creativity!
• Responsible and independent with good judgement.
