Job Description

- Assist with the planning and marketing of community events
- Work closely and assist promotions team, sales and news to execute community events Organize, coordinate and monitor community involvement in program/events
- Research companies and organizations for possible partnerships
- Support the production of the regional community show - Help create scripts, and other materials for local media
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Film or a related field, preferred.
- Expected graduation of summer 2025 or winter 2025.
- Strong communication, collaborative, and presentation skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
- Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.
- Knowledge of formatting, proofreading, basic arithmetic and filming
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, preferred.
- Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.
Dates: June 2 to August 8, 2025
Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week
Pay: $18 an hour
