Assist with the planning and marketing of community events
Work closely and assist promotions team, sales and news to execute community events
Organize, coordinate and monitor community involvement in program/events
Research companies and organizations for possible partnerships
Support the production of the regional community show
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Film or a related field, preferred.
Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
Expected graduation of summer 2024 or winter 2024.
Strong communication, collaborative, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of formatting, proofreading, basic arithmetic and filming
Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.
Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.
Dates: June 10 to August 16, 2024
Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week
