      The Resource Group has a robust internship program for Summer 2025 beginning on May 19, 2025. Our program has several positions available for hire. This is a partially onsite internship with travel up to 50% of the summer.

      Responsibilities

      The Resource Group, a subsidiary of Ascension, is a business transformation services organization that specializes in resource and supply chain management. The Resource Group transforms the resource and supply function within healthcare by delivering value to its customers and remaining rooted in the ideals of hospitality.       This internship falls within one of The Resource Group's Solution Support Communities. Like many organizations, these Communities are necessary in maintaining the integrity and evolution of critical business functions. These Communities provide support across The Resource Group solution offerings to strengthen business continuity, increase growth, and enhance customer experience. Throughout the 12-week experience, interns will work on unique personal projects, collaborate with other interns to solve organizational challenges, and learn new business & professional skills. Information about the responsibilities for this internship can be found below:

      • Support complex project workstreams for participants, working onsite or virtually with the client to implement and sustain change
      • Provide analytical support for consulting engagements, focused on non-payroll expense reduction and operational optimization
      • Develop, manage, and present analytical models and dashboards that drive decision making
      • Design and/or refine processes and training to ensure continuous improvement
      • Create client-ready deliverables (e.g. presentations, memos, and other documents) as requested
      • Develop and utilize support tools using advanced Excel, Access, and Tableau for implementation support and tracking and reporting of performance metrics for improvement initiatives
      • Support the development effective relationships with the Participants (site of care), to assist with achieving the benefits of The Resource Group’s Solutions and add to the internal knowledge base from project experience

      Requirements

      Education:

      • High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.

      Additional Preferences

      • College Junior year and above (ie, Supply Chain, Operations, Business)
      • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
      • Outstanding organizational & communication skills
      • Professional working proficiency of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc)
