      The Intern handles tasks as assigned in various areas of the organization. This position provides support in a network function as needed and gains on the job experience.

      Responsibilities

      A day in the life of a Intern at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

      • Assists department team members with daily operations as assigned. Assignments will vary in nature depending on the department the College Intern is placed.
      • Works on various projects as needed while gaining of working knowledge of the organization and its functions.
      • Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

      Qualifications

      Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

      • High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
      • Proficiency in computer skills.

      Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

      • College experience.
