Job Description
- Req#: 240018
- You will work with internal newsroom team to learn how to maintain, administer, and create intranet site content including documents, video, photos, and other related media
- Support event logistics including but not limited to vendor sourcing and management, timeline management, project planning, budget management and ensuring our vendors are paid in a timely manner
- Coordinate with internal teams and facilities to deliver successful onsite events
- Capture recaps which support archiving processes to ensure ROI on events
- Drafting, editing, and publishing news content for our weekly Take A Beat section of the newsletter
- Demonstrate our Sephora values: Passion, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect, Teamwork, and Initiative.
- Graduating in 2024 or 2025 (undergraduate or graduate degree).
- 1-2 years of studies within communications, PR, journalism, or related field
- Excellent writing and communications skills (creativity welcome!)
- Experience with web and digital content publishing platforms such as SharePoint, Word Press, Drupal, Mailchimp or similar.
- Relevant experience in event production including coordination and project management
- Skilled with Microsoft Office suite or collaboration software (e.g., Smartsheet, Box). Adobe suite knowledge and experience a plus.
- Passion for people and employee experience
- Ability to work in an events environment; willingness to travel; lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- June 3 – August 16
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, PST
- June 17 – 20: On-Site Week in San Francisco at headquarters office
- July 1 – 5: Week off for vacation

The Opportunity:
Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.
The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.

As Employee Engagement & Communications Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager of Communications and Employee Engagement to help maintain create an incredible employee experience for our corporate audience. Not only will you assist in executing our events, but you will be able to support in writing communications which touch almost 2,000 of our Sephora employees!

The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour.
