      Job Summary

      Summer internship

      We are looking for a Process or Mechanical engineering student, to work within our Engineering Project team in our Hamilton office. As a Project Engineering Intern you will be part of our fast-moving team delivering leading solutions to our customers.

      What you will do

      During your 12-week fixed term summer internship, you will:

      • Work with engineers from a diverse range of disciplines
      • Increase your understanding of engineering in the New Zealand Dairy industry
      • Participate in a variety of project activities, such as design, installation and commissioning
      • Grow your ability to contribute to technical discussions
      • See how your engineering degree can be applied to large scale projects
      • Experience what it is like to work for a global industry leader
      • Experience what it is like to be part of a large engineering team

      We believe you have

      • A logical thought process
      • Excellent problem-solving skills that can be applied in a range of different situations
      • A strong work ethic, willing to work hard to ensure a positive outcome
      • Strong communication and collaboration skills
      • Studying towards your Engineering degree (Process or Mechanical) - preferably 2nd year+
      • An eagerness to grow and develop
      • Comfortable working in a construction site environment
      • New Zealand residency with full working rights
