      We are looking for a motivated final-year student in the field of accounting, finance or management! Do you want to know what it's like to be part of one of the largest multinational companies in the pharmaceutical industry? We offer an internship opportunity within our Global Supplier Management Financial Planning and Analysis team where you will have the freedom and space for your own initiative.

      Intern Finance/Accountancy - Global Supplier Management Financial Planning and Analysis

      Welcome to our Team

      Global Supplier Management (GSM) Financial Planning and Analysis team is an essential hub in our organization. This department performs Budget / Forecast cycles as well month end close analyses for the Global Procurement Organization within the company. We strive to have an aligned approach on these activities for all our sites which we support (30+). The team consists of 5 employees, all of whom have extensive knowledge and experience in Finance. The team works closely with other departments within the company to achieve the stated goals.

      Your internship assignment

      As an intern, you will be responsible for Monthly and Quarterly reporting of Procurement related activities as well as working together with Supervisor on current Power BI model improvement.

      Your responsibilities

      • Monthly and Quarterly reporting: Savings / Purchase Price Variance / Freight / Capital

      • Check and follow up on Ariba Savings Projects

      • Daily update Power BI model

      • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of existing Power BI model

      • Providing a fresh perspective to the department by sharing your opinion.

      The described tasks form the basic package and will often be performed independently after a proper training and learning period. These tasks may be supplemented with other projects and/or tasks on your own initiative or at the request of the organization.

      What is required

      • A graduating student at master level, anticipating a degree in accountancy, finance or related field.

      • You are enthusiastic about building new relationships and working together on improvements.

      • You are searching for an internship where you have the freedom to take initiative.

      • You are fluent in English due to the international environment of our business.

      • You are a team player, can learn quickly and are ready for a good challenge!

      • You have advanced Excel and willing to learn Power BI better.

      • We are looking for 3 working days per week for period of 9 month starting in September
