Maintain safe, orderly lab and environment
Prepare lab samples
Assist other students with equipment operation and lab activities
Maintain, set up, and repair lab equipment
Document activities and solutions to issues via email, written reports, etc
Work with lab equipment including but is not limited to the following: microcontrollers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, soldering irons, 3D printers, CNC milling machines, programmable logic controllers, Rockwell hardness tester, specimen mounting press, orbital polisher, polariscope, tensile tester, microscopes, and furnace
Current high school or college student
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work in teams
Ability to log time (hourly position)
Practical experience with a wide variety of equipment
Collaborating hand-in-hand with skilled teams
Shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with seasoned professionals
Opportunity to participate in networking events and company meetings
Flexible schedule for students
Compensation available
Walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, moderate lifting and carrying (up to thirty (30) pounds).
Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.
Ability to focus on detail and accuracy of work product.
Work is performed primarily in a non-smoking office environment, though travel may expose employee to inclement weather conditions.
Occasional high stress may be experienced.

Interns experience a high-profile opportunity to present the results of their projects, including making recommendations to department team members and company leadership.
Approximately 90% of your time will be utilizing your ideas and efforts to work on technically challenging and personally rewarding projects that build on and broaden your technical skills, which will help prepare you for future roles as leaders and innovators. To help you do this, you will partner with your manager and mentor with the team you join, as well as a "buddy" from a different department.
