      Course of Study

      Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or MBA with a major in Marketing, Business Management, or Communication

      Term

      • 1 year in length [37.5 hours per week during the summer; ~20-25 hours per week during school year]
      • Internship to begin end of May and end the following May
      • Location – Subaru Headquarters in Camden, NJ
      • $19 an hour (undergrad)

      Qualifications

      • Junior (or a Senior planning to pursue a Master’s Degree in the fall)
      • Must be an active student for the entire length of internship
      • Previous internship or work experience preferred

      Skills

      • Strong written/verbal communication skills
      • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
      • Understanding of social media strategy, platforms, and how consumers engage with brands in the space
      • Willingness to learn and understand paid media and how Subaru is investing in traditional and digital channels (i.e., Network/Broadcast TV, Streaming, Social, Audio, and Influencers)

      Responsibilities

      • Ensure Influencers/Creators are properly tracked and tagged within dashboards
      • Assist with social media community management on an as needed basis
      • Capture content for SOA’s LinkedIn and other needs as directed by the Senior Social Media Specialists
      • Fulfilling surprise and delight orders for engaged Subaru fans/owners
      • Assistance creating campaign timelines and communicating those across the broader department
      • Assist in organizing team feedback across campaigns to share with external teams
      • Support social media listening and reporting requests
      • Contribute to research projects such as influencer vetting and competitor posts performance analysis

      Summary

      The Integrated Media intern will be an integral part of the integrated media team, working on tasks across social media, influencers, and paid media. The intern will assist the managers and specialists with tasks including monitoring and measuring influencer performance, assisting with the creation of campaign timelines across vehicle launches and brand equity pillars (National Make A Dog’s Day, Share the Love, etc.) This person will also be responsible for creating content on an as needed basis and reporting upon industry trends.
