      Groups using the 3-2 schedule:

      Job Summary

      The Integrated Strategic Planning team analyzes and develops the business case for the Company’s regulated growth plan. Strategic Planning partners with stakeholders to develop an integrated generation plan to meet customer demand in a cost effective and reliable manner. Dominion Energy is seeking an energetic, motivated college student who will be starting their Sophomore or Junior year in Fall 2023.

      This position will be working with Integrated Strategic Planning personnel and others to support future energy projects, generation strategies, and the generation plan to meet customer needs. Duties will include compiling and analyzing data, energy modeling, and preparing presentations. In addition, the position will perform research on renewable generation, energy storage, renewable energy credits, and decarbonization plans to support Dominion’s effort to modernize the electrical grid. Research areas in Generation System Planning include solar generation, wind generation, pumped storage, batteries, renewable/battery hybrids, combustion turbines, and combined cycle generation.

      Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

      Applicants should also possess the following skills:
      • Knowledge of business processes
      • Strong analytical skills
      • Ability to review a variety of information and with guidance identify cost impact to the company
      • Skilled in the use of a computer and related applications/programs including office software such as Word, Excel, Access and HTML or other Web languages
      • Ability to handle multiple project and priorities within specified deadlines
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external company contacts

      Education Requirements

      • Applicants must possess a minimal cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
        • Prefer students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
      • Applicants must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Engineering
      • Applicants must have an anticipated graduation date of spring 2025 or spring 2026.
