You will be involved in the conception of internal company inquiries climate targets, greenhouse gas reduction, and circular economy
You will support the processing and optimization of databases for the documentation and validation of our circular economy and climate performance
The preparation and creation of presentations on corporate activities of our department is part of your job
You will take on subtasks in climate transformation and circular economy projects, focusing on emission reduction and sustainable process optimization
The documentation of your results as well as the presentation of these to colleagues are part of your tasks
In addition, you will take on general organizational activities
You are studying in the field of economics, natural, environmental, technical or social sciences, sustainability management or related fields at a university with a certificate of enrollment
You are interested in environmental sustainability, preferably acquired through previous internships or study focuses are an advantage
CSRD, GHG Protocol, and Circular Economy are familiar terms to you
Flexibility, teamwork and a friendly tone in direct contact with colleagues and customers are also important to you
The internship duration is (preferably) six months
You have excellent German and English language skills

The Sustainability Transformation & Business Building department within Global Innovation & Sustainability is the global group that drives the sustainability strategy in climate transformation and circular economy. Our focus lies on developing and implementing strategies for climate neutrality and the commercialization of climate-neutral and circular plastics production at Covestro.
As an intern in sustainability management and circular economy, you will support us in further developing our climate strategy and circular economy roadmap. You will work at an exciting interface where climate transformation and circular economy come together to shape sustainable plastics production.
In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive salary of €2,100 gross/month for a full-time position. Furthermore, you can organize your working day as you wish - with flexible working hours and the option to work from home up to 50% of your working time.
